MAPLE

Computer in Science course is actually the Kuliyyah Required Course which contributes 3 credit hours for the students. MAPLE is surely part of it. I have learned MAPLE for about two months guided by Mr. Solihi and frankly speaking it is not as easy as to enunciate its name. The most updated software is MAPLE 12, the one that i have learned. MAPLE is a general-purpose commercial computer algebra system and it is strongly related to Mathematics.
From my personal point of view, it is simply a powerful calculator that can calculate almost everything, i think. It is just we need to know and of course memorize the computer language which encompasses commands and codes.
To be a little more precise, the following table shows us the topics that i have learned in MAPLE.

Chapter
Topics
1
Basic Operation
2
calculus
3
Lists and Table
4
Matrices and Vector
3
Differential Equation

The students are suggested to refer 'MAPLE by EXAMPLE' by Martha L. Abell and 'MAPLE BOOK' by Frank Garvan as reference.

About the assignment, we were challenged to create a star by using all the knowledge that we have learned. And of course, it is terribly hard and difficult.
